Furnishing the New Presbytery

SUPPORTED BY MISSIONARY SISTERS OF ST.PETER CLAVER

Ajia Parish is a relatively young parish and since its inception and coupled with the poverty of the people, it was a big burden to build a new presbytery which was planned in the year 2005. Since 2018 there is a new Parish Priest and a new Curate and with their effort it was possible to work on the finishing of the presbytery. As the priests living in apartments without own furniture it is necessary to look for that. The Christians are very stressed with the work on the presbytery and they cannot afford to furnish the house.

The Curate, Fr. Robert Ojama brought his request to the project office and said the following items will help to cover the basic need. He mentioned that Beds, Mattresses,  Bed sheets, Mosquito nets, Doors, Office desks, office chairs, sofa sets, book shelves, coffee sets, reading table, side boards and curtains will change the the daily life of the priests.

With the support from the Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver it was possible to purchase the items for the Presbytery in September 2021.

Thank you very much and God bless you all.
